Pin O' the Day

Have you discovered Pinterest yet?

If not, go check it out and thank me later. So much eye- popping inspiration, so addictive!

The quote from John Lennon above is one of my current favorites (and I found it through my niece- thank you Hannah!). I identify with John's Mother because in all of the mind numbing, overwhelming-ness (I know, not a word, but it conveys exactly how I feel about this, and I'm not even the one doing most of the work)  of the college application process, I remember a moment when I told my daughter this exact thing: find something that make you happy

Not rich. Not famous.
Just happy.

When you find it, you will know it, and try not to stress about the fact that at age 18, you're not sure what you want to do (I think we put too much pressure on our kids to figure it all out before they even apply to colleges).

Explore. Learn. And enjoy the process.
Seriously.

Love Pinterest. Added to my list of addictions! So very true about our youth being rushed to "know" what they want to do in life. Being happy can be a full time job! ;)
