More Ohio Junk, of course!
These vintage green glass canning jars filled to the brim with old buttons (four jars to the left) and spools (last jar on the right) were only $1 each....
CUTE little chalboard...I have the perfect little artist's easel to put this on in my studio...
This one was for my son, who just happens to be camping with his Dad and the Boy Scouts this weekend (notice I am here posting pictures and NOT camping-lol), dated June 1948. He was amazed at how "old" this book was and that Scouts had actually been around that long, not to mention the fact that things he does now as a Scout, his Grandfather did too...
"NO WAY!"
(I directly quote the eight year old)
These old handbooks also have some fantastic graphics and ads for Schwinn Bicycles, Kodak, Keds and Coca-Cola. Mom will be scanning those to add to her vintage collection for possible AA projects in the future....so many ideas, so little time....

Finally figured out how to reply to a comment-lol!
Yeah can you believe it? Of course a couple of these were Diana's. She accidentally left them in my car and they went home with me. Instead of paying the shipping, she told me to keep 'em. Awww, what a sweet friend....
Very envious of all your jars of buttons...my jar is just about empty and I need more to finish off some wool pony tail holders that I've started working on...hmmmm..perhaps I should look on eBay?!

Hey Tammy!
Have to admite it wasn't really the buttons that attracted me initially...have always loved the sea blue/green color of these old canning jars....but I do use buttons occasionally and there are some very kewl ones hidden amongst the basics (had to "dump and spread" when I got home, just to see if there were any hidden treasures-lol)....
