My Playdough Michaelangelo and something Fishy....

Just some random ramblings (and a bit of show -n- tell) on a quiet Tuesday afternoon...
Hmmmm...this was one of the "fortunes" we got in our cookies at the mediocre Chinese Buffet we decided to try over the weekend....this would be the something fishy from the title (believe it or not)...it certainly left a bad taste in my mouth...I want to know how my luck will soon change or that good things come to those who wait, yadayadayada- not blatant advertising for the blankety-blank buffet..... Boo-Hiss on this un-named Chinese eatery....
And this is the playdough masterpiece that my nine year old son whipped up last night.....there was a turtle too, but I wasn't quick enough to get a pic of that one....
A face only a Mother could love....kind of reminds me of the old Mr. Bill SNL skits...anybody remember those?
Ohhhh nooooo.....

Ooooo, just like Mr. Bill! I love the smell of playdoh, it makes me want to eat it. I don't of course:) Your son must share your artistic gene!

Hee hee..I remember...Oooh Nooo Mr. Bill! Those were the great days of SNL, weren't they?

I agree..the fortune cookie should give you a fortune not an AD! UGH! Hugs--Susan

Love this fish! There must be some way you can save this...I've still got some things that my Daughter made way back when! We have a shelf in our bookcase that showcases little clay pieces made by all 3 of our kids when they were teeny...so sweet ;)

Steph dont feel bad...the chinese place here is less than mediocre (sp?) too. It just sucks.

As for Mr. Bill now that takes me back to high school...how that for dating myself. Hahaha

I have to agree there is a lot of talent in your family. :) Enjoy!

Oh yeah..it smells so good! We are kind of past the playdough age but he got it as a prize in class...been having tons of fun with it on this snow day... upside of being older and playing with playdough? I'm not finding it smooshed into the carpet and anywhere else it's not supposed to be...lol!

I miss Mr. Bill. And the only Chinese I eat these days are what I cook. A week in the hospital with food poisoning will do that to you! At least you didn't get sick!
Blessings, steph.
